3rd Annual Halloween Polaroid Corner

A little behind but I wanted to share about our 3rd Annual Polaroid Corner at the Cobble Hill Halloween Parade this year.

A few snaps here. We didnt actually keep the Polaroids, so I took a few shots of the pictures the families took home, along with a couple other stellar costumes and cute trick-or-treaters.

Oh, and our set up! I love it in the midst of chaos.

What happens in Palm Springs...

Just got back from a weekend with 8 of my closest girlfriends for my bachlorette weekend!

(Doesnt the word 'bachlorette' just ooze with cheesiness though? I'm just calling it my girls weekend)

Anyway, Palm Springs is amazing. The light, the mountains, the gorgeous windmills on the road into Palm Springs...and most of all my nearest and dearest friends!!

Have to share this image of my friend Kelly whose been my friend since 4th grade, and who rallied like a rockstar...making the journey to Palm Springs (it was Pride Weekend at our hotel,OMG.) with 7 week old Max.

I'm in love with this picture. Its one of those frozen moments that I have just keep looking at to know that it actually happened. To know that there are times in life where everything is just in sync in its awkward ways, when everything aligns in its crookedness, and produces proof of life that teters on the edge of a dream.

Seven days in this world. Wow. Luca is the newest addition to the gorgeous artistic Brooklyn couple Jill and Vram (check out Jill's awesome wallpaper and design here).

The concept of LITTLE is so fascinating! Did you have a miniature collection when you were little? I did! I loved it. Little piano, little suitcase, little globe. Oh, and when i was little i wanted to be a vet, but only for LITTLE cats.

Woodstock 2009

I may not wear daisies in my hair, but i'm heading to Woodstock this weekend!

The Center for Photography at Woodstock is a well respected venue for photography and photographers.

I'm thrilled to be part of a show that's opening up there Sat night!

I'm part of a group called Nutopia that is lead by the fantastic Platon, who has created inspiring photographs that we all recognize.

Here is my image that will be exhibited as a 30x40! Very exciting.

I love these events for the burst of energy that floods into my veins as i elbow rub and story swap with everyone on what they are doing in this fabulous industry in this fabulous city.
