Kay & Neil, a Brooklyn Wedding

I really dig my job. I'm invited to share in some of the most personal moments in someone's life when we photograph a wedding, and inevitably by the end, i'm head over heels for each couple. But a couple weekends ago, Andrew and I had the priviledge of photographing 2 friends get married. I usually shy away from being "the photographer" at friends wedding for many reasons but mainly just because it is work, i take it seriously, and its a bit challenging to also try and be a guest. But this was an intimate affair and Andrew has known the groom for ages. So we were thrilled when they asked if we would be interested in photographing their day. What a celebration of love it was. Brooklyn style. Congrats N + K. xxx

The Gallows, Boston

My cousin Rebecca opened her own brand spankin new restaurant last week in Boston's South End...and its killer!

The light fixtures that Rebecca designed out of construction wire mesh rolls are probably my favorite part of the whole place.

I had the potato dumplings with fava beans which was off the charts.

Then Andrew and I planted ourselves at the bar for hours to enjoy the energy of the newborn restaurant over many glasses of Prosecco.

So proud of you cuzzie!

We loved Erica & Chris!

There was so much love between them you could cut it with a big wedding cake knife.
But why would we want to do that??

The whole wedding was enjoyable and gorgeous..with a big surprise FINALE!!
