Va Va Va Boudoir

In case you dont know, there is a trend happening in the wedding world, where engaged brides want to do a Boudoir shoot (pronounced with a French accent, its so much sexier!)...and hey, i'm all for it.

I mean, if you think about it, when you're getting ready for your wedding, you're looking your best, you're feeling your best, so by all means, take it off and lets make images with that radiant confidence! (plus when you're celebrating your 60th wedding anniversary, and gravity starts to set in, wont it be fun to have these?!)

Dacia and her fiance Xavier came in from Atlanta to do their shoot! They stayed in a hotel downtown, and Dacia and I had a fab time jumping around her hotel room creating these images.

Kids of Kathmandu -Save the Date

Our Save the Dates went out last week!

We are so excited. This has been a lot of work and knowing that the event is less than 2 months away is both exciting and nerve racking!

We've are collaborating with the most amazing team. It is so inspiring and humbling to see how much goodness people are capable of, how much work and energy people are putting forward, for no money in return.

I think with everything that is happening in the world, particularly at this moment in Japan, and in Libya,
it is easy to feel helpless.
But at the same time,
it is also easy to feel helpful.

Kat Flower Power

I want to introduce you to my friend Kat Flower.

She does amazing arrangement for weddings and events and so hard working its inspiring.

When she's not jetting off to Paris (get OUT!), she's at the flower market or working on some fab event.

Nevermind the fact that she's GORGEOUS. And engaging and sincere and talented!

Stopped by a showing she had last night at Demi Adeniran's Fabrica where Jeanine Hays from Aphro Chic also showed her amazing colorful water color painted home furnishings as well.

Introducing Ruby

Lynne was the beautifully pregnant mommy-to-be here with awesomely tender husband Tim not so long ago...

and now...introducing Ruby!

These 3 are the sweetest new family.
I cant believe this is their first time.
They are so mellow and at ease with the whole thing!
(btw, Tim's band is awesome! and they do weddings! check out dexter lake club band here!

And doesnt Lynne looks like an old world painting as she breastfeeds??
Stunning.

Little Ruby didnt feel like sleeping a wink during our shoot, but as long as she was near mom and dad, everything was a-ok.
