NYC Family Photography...Jack is One!

I cant help it. I have a crush on a 1 year old. And i had a crush on him when he was 6 months too! I've been lucky enough to photograph Jack and his family a few times during his 1st year...and seriously this babe is a squishy stunner.

North Fork Vineyard Wedding, Congrats Randi & Peter

There's just something romantic about the perfectly lined trees of a vineyard. Maybe its that you can almost taste the most incredible glass of wine just by looking at the landscape...and hear the conversations and laughter that will surely follow. Whatever it is, Randi + Peter soaked it up. And we were thrilled to be there to capture it all.

Family Photography is never dull!

Mama Amanda is my awesome, beautiful, inspiring yoga teacher. Papa John is the unstoppable wizard behind Tropfest. Its no surprise their family is to die for from top to bottom (cats and dog included!). My heart broke at the end though, when the shoot came to a screeching halt as 3 year old Harper caught a glimpse of her Barbie who had her arm gnawed off by the new puppy. I have to admit, the injury looked pretty gorrey and i was wondering myself if Barbie felt any pain! That was a wrap..and Mom + Dad started a soothing kitchen sink bath for Barbie to recuperate.

A Catskills Wedding. Congrats Ruthie + Erik!

On a gorgeous summer day, Ruthie + Erik tied the knot surrounded by blue skies, green trees, and lots of smiling loving (talented!) family + friends!
Weddings with lots of DIY elements are sometimes a bit stressful to pull off, but the payoff is tremendous. Being the NY progressive artistic couple that they are (Ruthie is a journalist/researcher and Erik is a visual artist working on a traffic cone project),  they had their paws in all details. And it showed!
