London Family Photography, Right Right!

I feel grateful for photography time and time again...and this shoot in London was definitely one of those times!

Mom Ize and I have been friends since my early New York days when nights out started at 11pm...when babies and husbands were far from the picture. ha! (no digital links to photos here thank you!)

When she and her Welsh artist husband Gethin decided to move from Brooklyn back to their UK homeland, we stayed in touch, and i've LOVED seeing how yes, the baby and husband life, has looked so damn good on her. (mind you she is also an incredibly savvy business woman of course!)

So how lucky was I to be invited to London to photograph her and her gorgeous trio?! (Can you get over the baby Nigerian dress? No way.)

My camera is the best kind of passport..connecting me to lights of life all over the globe.

Destination Family Photography, Brooklyn Goes to St. John Virgin Islands!

Well how cool was this?! This Brooklyn family that i LOVE and have photographed here and here wanted to do a shoot in St. John, Virgin Islands where we both were for a wedding. (omg Axel was the ring bearer! see the wedding here!)

I have long admired their kool kat parenting as I remember tales of a trip on a sailboat with Axel when he was just a little guy...so now it was Oscar's turn...only 12 weeks, and he was cruising all around the island (granted he was sleeping for most of it, but still...he was doing it!)

And Axel...well he's just too much. Words are not necessary, just look at this little guy!

For the record, i'm TOTALLY into the idea of vacation family photographer...duh!
