Was so happy to get the call that these guys were having a baby! I photographed them as carefree lovebirds on the Brooklyn Bridge a couple years ago (here) and now they are a family of 3 with little Bela, the girl with the most amazing head of hair in town!
Bela's proud grandmother was in town from India, making amazing cups of Masala Chai during our shoot and sending me off at the end of the shoot with this insanely awesome homemade sweet bread dripping in ghee...part of a diet for moms after giving birth for recovery. Ok, sign me up for that diet!
Such a true treat to revisit people in a new stage of their life. (Dad was already totally in the groove only 2 weeks in! So impressed!)
