I originally met Melanie and Daniel from a distance...quite a distance actually, as I was hiding behind a long lens at Grand Central Station last year when Daniel got down on one knee and surprised Melanie with a ring! Awesome.
And now in Westhampton, where Melanie grew up, it was such a beautiful weekend, as we jumped from one location to the next, all within a stone's throw of each other...you really get to feel the place where you are! (campfire night to come!)
It was also a first for me...2 ceremonies! First a church ceremony for Melanie and her family, followed by a Jewish ceremony for Daniel and his family. And it totally worked! Packed with meaningful rituals on both sides, by the end, there was no doubt, these 2 were married!
The families sweetly embraced each other..and I loved seeing the new mother-in-laws holding hands during the dinner time speeches.
