It's not like the old days...now so many families are strewn across the globe, seeing each other on big holidays and family celebrations (mine included!)...so I'm always so aware of how special it is, when 3 generations actually live close enough that they can get together on a casual summer morning for pictures (and fun!).
Kids usually have a good hour in them for shoots like these, but let's be honest, after what the adults endure (piggy back rides, getting tackled, rolling in the grass, blowing bubbles, playing hide and seek), everyone is happy for lunch afterwards! But it is so worth I would say...wouldn't you??
