Brooklyn Family Photography

Yeah, it's kind of true. There's no place like Brooklyn. And this family proves it.

Photographed among their amazing vintage imported rugs from Morroco, and their shop called Breuckelen Berber, we had fun!

There may have been tears amongst the threads of yarn, but it was nothing a few (okay, maybe more than a few) animal cookies and bubbles couldn't combat. Plus Dad spinning records? I could have stayed all afternoon.

1 Year Baby Photography- Axel is ONE!

Seriously one of my favorite parts of my work is seeing families and babies on a repeat visit, especially if we got a chance to photograph their newborn together.

The morning with Axel was one of those times. It was actually his real 1st year birthday when we got together, which was extra awesome when he rocked this custom crown!

This little guy has a smile that never drops. I think he really must sleep in his smile.
And being the super hip urban Brooklyn babe that he is...he is super happy with dirt, bare feet, and sticks...(as i recall he was already on a sailboat at 3 weeks old!) as long as its accompanied with a lot of love..which is a total no brainer with Axel's lovely parents who i totally dig. (and who as usual are on the 'what's hot' side of the list, meeting each other at the University of St. Andrew's).
