Engagement Shoot with Janelle and Tom-Congratulations!

These 2 are picture perfect and I could have photographed them all day! After having to reschedule due to weather, we got super lucky with our new shoot day! A gorgeous morning in Brooklyn with a gorgeous pair of lovers...I'm SO looking forward to your big day!

Engaged in NYC, Congratulations Andrew + Chris!

Ok so....I'm kind of obsessed with these 2 and their love for each other! I mean can I possibly just be in this relationship as a butterfly on the wall, and by some sort of osmosis that will count for being in one myself? Yeah, ok, probably not.

Andrew + Chris were best friends in high school..and now they are getting married. I mean what?! Their sweet affection is so palpable that while we were shooting on the High Line early one weekend morning, an unshaven hipster guy stopped to say, "hey you guys are really cute together."

Days like these I feel so fortunate for my job. To witness a connection so real, so seamless...and to be able to make pictures with them to celebrate it. I'd like to order a lifetime supply of this for the whole world.

So looking forward to your big day guys.

NYC Engagement Shoot, From Broadway to Brooklyn...Congratulations Colleen + Damian!

I love a unique location like this! Colleen and Damian met while they were both working on the Broadway Show, Fela! Sparks flew and I'm sure a few jazz hands, and the rest is history.

Damian still works at the same O'Neill Theater as a 'follow spot operator', the big huge spotlight you see magically following the actors on stage...and we got to climb into his booth, his home away from home, like the wizard of Oz's hideaway, and snap a few pics as well...and then the highlight...(hahaha!) was when he fired up that followspot baby and I got to photograph them bathed in the light of the theater that started it all.

Congratulations guys! Can't wait for the big day!

Winter Wonderland Engagement Session in Central Park

The stars are aligned for these 2 because in the middle of the never ending Polar Vortex, we got a sunny beautiful few hours one Saturday!
Perfect time to dance in the snow..to celebrate life and love and all that is now..and is to come.

A Proposal at Bond Street Sushi! Congrats to Mary + Brian!

Jumping out of my skin yet hiding behind a menu, as Mary says in the video below, "alone on a Friday night" I caught Brian down on his knee asking Mary to spend the rest of her life with him. I can see why he wanted this photographed because aside from the obvious reasons, Mary is so much fun to photograph with her super expressive overflowing love for the whole evening.

So much fun guys and thank you for inviting me to document this awesome beginning to the rest of your lives.
