New York Family Photography, Central Park, but of course!

I hadn't met this family before, but as they turned the corner in Central Park heading in my direction, and the cheeriest parade of pink was coming my way, I knew it was going to be a great morning!

But don't be fooled by the pink dresses! These girls were not scared to get dirty! We dug in the dirt, climbed rocks, tried to catch bugs, and ran after bubbles...and of course who wouldn't want to do those things in a dress!

And they are so sweet together...these 3 sisters...built in friends forever. Watching the youngest soak in every moment of her 2 older sisters was really endearing too!

Thanks for a really fun morning guys!
All the best

Dallas Family Photography on a Crisp Fall Day

I grew up in Dallas, and love going back for Thanksgiving...family, football, food....and (f)photography! With people I haven't had a chance to see in a long time!

Mom Holly got in touch with me to photograph her 3 girls...which was crazy when we realized that her oldest daughter is the age Holly and I were when we met. How does that seem like only yesterday??

These sisters were so sweet together...with the Texas manners that always pleasantly surprise me after spending so much time in New York ('Miss Jami' I was...)

And by the end, the littlest one was directing the whole shoot..."move your head, stand here, smile."
No joke.

What a treat. Thanks for inviting me to document your family Holly!

Sisters.

I don't have a sister, so I'm always so fascinated by this amazingly unique relationship. These 2 are quite different from each other, yet have such a special closeness that they probably will not even recognize until they are older....i'm so grateful to witness and capture it...and thank you for inviting me to do so!

New baby sister arrives on the scene

I'm always fascinated and intrigued by the relationship of new siblings. More often than not, the formerly known as only child, really isn't as excited about the new baby as everyone else is. I know that was the case when my brother came on the scene when i was 3 years old. My father was recording as he told me I had a new brother, to which i cried "I dont want a brother. I want a sister!"

But regardless of the interest (or lack of) that the oldest one has for the newest, it is so special to capture these first moments, knowing that this will be a relationship like no other in each of their lives.

Camryn, 10 days, slept peacefully throughout most of the shoot, Juliet, 2 years, danced a little and cried a little, and Hudson the dog made his appearance when called upon.

Congrats Jen + Adam on your new addition..and thank you for inviting me to capture it.
