A photo shoot on your trip to NYC? Heck yeah!

Had so much fun with these guys!
2 doctors from Germany (yup!) on a work/pleasure trip to NYC...why not schedule some time to hang out together in the summer rays and have someone (me!) record it all?!
It's no secret that we have had a ridiculously lovely summer here in NYC, but every day it is still fascinating. Every sunset feels new, and every picture is it's own story.

NYC Engagement Shoot, From Broadway to Brooklyn...Congratulations Colleen + Damian!

I love a unique location like this! Colleen and Damian met while they were both working on the Broadway Show, Fela! Sparks flew and I'm sure a few jazz hands, and the rest is history.

Damian still works at the same O'Neill Theater as a 'follow spot operator', the big huge spotlight you see magically following the actors on stage...and we got to climb into his booth, his home away from home, like the wizard of Oz's hideaway, and snap a few pics as well...and then the highlight...(hahaha!) was when he fired up that followspot baby and I got to photograph them bathed in the light of the theater that started it all.

Congratulations guys! Can't wait for the big day!

Brooklyn Family Photography, a Frolic in DUMBO!

Have been photographing this family since mom Lynne was pregnant with numero uno!
(I feel like she's an old friend and then i have to remind myself she's 3 years old!)

'Grateful' to capture the sprouting of this family doesn't even begin to convey it!

It's such a treat every time.

DUMBO Wedding...Congratulations Catherine + Mike!

These guys have such a youthful witty humor about them,  yet steeped in some serious (harvard) knowledge that you have to pay attention to get it all!...they are brilliant fun...never taking anything too seriously, but taking it seriously enough that the night ran without a hiccup thanks to Catherine overseeing every inch of details with precision.

Including bringing this stuffed cat in lieu of a bouquet...in case you haven't seen this before, yes, brides have been throwing cats! ...http://bridesthrowingcats.com/ 

And if you are wondering where your ONE might be....he/she might just have been in the incubator next to you on day 1 of your life. Yup. These guys were born in the same hospital.
