When we talk about destination weddings, we usually think abroad...but what about when NEW YORK is the destination??
Leanne + Ed are from Scotland, they live in China, and their family and friends made the journey to celebrate with them from the UK, Asia, and Finland! (Ed did all the planning with me leading up to the big day, really wanting to make sure it was perfect for Leanne. Swoon!)
Leanne + Ed already have 3 GORGEOUS children (omg, right?!) so this was extra special that the kids got to see their parents say I do.
How sweet is it when the little one sees his mom for the first times on the steps of the Public Library? He could only have been thinking his mom just became a real life princess in front of his eyes.
(and when i saw the 4 boys walking down the street towards us i had to pinch myself. This is my job? I get to photograph these guys?!)
And the Gay Pride parade gave us the added bonus of street closures and empty sidewalks for our own quasi private time running through the streets with this beautiful family. The tourists got quite an exciting show and were snapping away behind us. I"m sure these guys ended up in a lot of family photo albums!
And although the rain made an appearance during the ceremony, when it was time to dance, the clouds parted, the Empire State Building turned on its rainbow pride colors, and Leanne + Ed danced the night away.
Thanks for inviting us to document your day.
xx

Beautiful photos. I was wondering if you know where the ceremony/reception took place?
