We absolutely love this family. Two years ago we photographed Gillian's sister Andrea's wedding to Jay (so much fun to revisit that post!) and connected on a really special level with this family. So needless to say, when we got the phone call that it was Gillian + Matt's turn...and that it was happening in Chicago...and that they wanted us to be there...we were nothing short of honored.
The closeness of this family really resonates with me as I too am very close with my family. And how sweet is the reasoning for having the wedding in Chicago....Matt's grandfather, who is 95, wanted to marry them! And marry him with style he did...over and over at the top of his lungs exclaimed, this is not just a wedding, this is about LOVE! Right you are.
